Run don't walk from that profession. It will be your biggest regret. I'm not remotely kidding.
Oh I already did. I have a love-hate relationship with EMS and public safety as a whole. Why? You worked in it?
Know someone who did. The compensation is ridiculously low for the amount of effort and mental strain the job entails. I think first year out of school starts around $27-33k. That's barely above minimum wage. This is a job that requires education and certifications.
County government EMS. The benefits are better and you get a nice pension at the end. It is harder to get fired as well.
Choosing between a County Government EMS Department and a Private EMS Service depends on personal priorities and career goals. Government EMS may offer more stability, defined benefits, and community service focus. Private EMS could provide higher pay and potential for quicker advancement. Consider factors such as job security, career progression, benefits, and company culture. Evaluate what aligns with your long-term goals and values. It's essential to weigh these elements and ensure the opportunity supports your professional aspirations and work-life balance.

Do you work in EMS?
Lol ok
Umm... I saw you sent me a follow request. No offense, but I am about to be married soon and it will be a red flag to accept a follow request from a sex worker. Sorry.
