Why do teachers and staff have so many meetings?

My coworkers reminded me that we have a meeting about our student and I was hoping it would be canceled but NO! It’s still on! I hope it isn’t too long! I have things I have to do. Like my homework but one of my staff said, “Well there’s a LOT of things that needs to discuss so it’s going to be a while and it needs to all be talked about. Your school work can wait.”

I hope we’re not here until 5 or 5:30pm. Then I won’t get home until six and I won’t get work done. Then I’ll have to go to bed at 9:00 and come to work at 7:30am. I work from 7:30 to 3:30. Last time we had a meeting, we were here into 4:45pm.
