Relatively safe, except for certain areas. The local train station is well lit during the darkest hours, but the staircase leading up from the station towards the area we live in is narrow, long and dark. The lights are broken since many years and no-one bothers to repair them. The town hall says it's the railway company's duty, the railway company says the exact opposite. Add to that an agressive squatter who roams the area and you have the recipe for a disaster waiting to happen.

And the place I work is in a nice corporate neighborhood but honestly I wouldn’t bet on the area being safe either

Where I work, at the moment I can feel a tad unsafe but mostly worry about the other children, we got security on so that helps.
