Leeds in England I was in a gang during a few years of high school, and say I feel pretty safe. A lot of crime is well you had to get involved for it to be a problem, or be a store.
I'd say though it's not a picket fence, as in meaning if you live here ya know what life is really like with a mix of everything unlike those who live in a area with luxury of not needing to know.
I don't, not at all... I really wish I was born in any other city in the world.
Sorry to hear that, what city is it?
It's Sisak.
Croatia, okay, what makes it unsafe?
Corruption mostly, and malicious people.
All right, I don't hear often of Croatia to be fair, I heard it's a cheap destination for tourists in the EU but that's about it
I know, but that's just a cheap commercial.
best of luck to you then, hope you will take off at some point, it's really shitty to be locked in a city you don't feel safe living in
Thank you, I hope so too.
Here's a couple of screenshots from the local paper. It's an old article but you get the general idea

I get the idea but I also get that it's 2021, it wasn't a good year for crime involving bodies lolol
I once witnessed a police officer bent over this guy drunk as a skunk sitting by some bins at 2 in the afternoon. He asked if he was going to be arrested and was told nah I can't be arsed with the paperwork.
😂😂
Both at school and in my hometown, I feel pretty safe.
We're talking about a town or a city though, since it's probably unfair to put towns and cities in the same boat?
yup, it says small city to me
I relate, I'm fine with pops between 100k and 500k, not really beyond that

I hate to feed into this but as a 6ft 230lb guy who quite frankly would love to hit someone with an absolutely devistating side kick (I'm still pretty quick too) and watch them fly 3-5 feet (I hope I'm wearing my boots), I feel pretty safe pretty much anywhere I go.
I had a friend who had extensive training in at least three different martial arts. He paid his way through uni as a bouncer. Decided to give it away when he got a corporate job... shirt, tie, bruises and cuts Monday mornings wasn't the right look. He seriously missed the head crunching though.
I practice vigilance to a greater degree than anywhere else that i have ever lived because i live in the kind of place where if i am victimized, i cannot count on justice from the system. I am fortunate though that i look like the kind of person that most people don’t want to f*ck with. Additionally, i can generally take care of myself. Therein is where my sense of security stems from.
Apart from Berlin, which is shithole with many lowlifes, German cities are very safe. I have been walking and biking through them alone and at night for decades now.
I see unsafe elements all the time but I personally do feel safe
I’m a tall and bulky guy with a full beard hardly the target of choice for petty mugging
Very safe. I live in a small city of 75k and my house and truck are never locked. I don't know anyone in my city who has had anything stolen in our city.
Very. The scariest thing that has happened to me in 20-odd years is that I almost got hit by a moron on an e-scooter on the pavement (sidewalk).
Around where I live is safe enough, though surrounding areas have declined in recent years. I work in big city, parts I go for work are broadly safe. Other areas make me nervous
I've lived in 15-20 towns/cities in 10 US states. I've never lived anywhere that I felt unsafe.
Apart from 1 specific area where you better not venture alone at night, fairly safe.
Major Spanish city I assume?
They should logically face the same problem yep. In Spain, I can only talk for Bilbao as a 1 week tourist, so it's really thin but it felt extraordinarily safe to me
Very. Melbourne just scored world's best city by Time Out. Part of that is feeling safe along side great coffee and cafes.
Kinda safe. Some parts of my city are sketchy but overall it's not bad..
100% safe. Street crime almost doesn't exist here. Still the usual: burglaries, domestic violence, etc.
i'm in small european village in the mountains, feel 100% safe
Shanghai is as safe as it gets I feel. Very safe.
Safe as a baby in their cradle. Granted, I do not live in a God forsaken city.
Very safe,
As my country always stays away from wars
I fell very safe in Dallas Texas because I always have a 9mm strapes to my hip. God bless the 2nd amendment
Parts of Windsor are rather unsafe, and drugs abound. A Central Windsor librarian said she saw a dude tweaking at a computer terminal !!!
Very safe. Not 100 % but nearly.
Feel pretty safe. San diego has navy, seals, army. Military here won't play around here.
I feel relatively safe in my city.
I don't live anywhere near those places, oh well.
I pretty much like it here.
Very safe.
