Fairly safe, but drug-and homeless-person-riddled especially Downtown.(There's relatively little violent crime, however.)

It's not too bad, depends on where. Wrong place, wrong time, anywhere can be dangerous, you know how it is.

But yeah, I prefer the leafy suburbs. Generally a lot safer. I prefer the lush green English countryside in general.

We have things like ladders stolen or the odd bike, so it’s fairly high crime with I think 3 bikes, a ladder stolen and a greenhouse broken into last year.

My area isn't too bad. but in general the town has gone downhill in recent years, its not that safe. Too many londoners seem to have been sent down to our area by cash strapped councils.
