I was a software developer at Amazon for ten years. Collected a lot of stock as the price (post-split) rose from $15 to $217. It was a good place to work, excellent medical, good managers (except the last one). My colleagues were generally happy. I can't say much about warehouse (fulfillment centers) work. I spent three days learning most of the FC jobs -- stowing, picking, packing, loading. It wasn't that hard -- I was able to make the expected rate picking and stowing with about five minutes training. People say "workers have to walk TEN MILES a day", but that's only about one mile per hour over the shift. No one is running, or being denied bathroom breaks.
Nope, never have.

Working for Amazon can be a mixed experience. On the positive side, employees often highlight the fast-paced, innovative environment with growth opportunities and competitive salaries. You'll be at the forefront of technology and logistics, learning from cutting-edge practices.
On the downside, the work culture is known for being demanding and intense, with high expectations and pressure. Work-life balance can be challenging. However, experiences can vary significantly depending on the role and team. It's important to consider your career goals and personal circumstances when evaluating if it's the right fit for you.
