Why is it that often when I write something and copy and paste it goes to the next line, and I can't eliminate the space (gap at the end of the line)?

For example, in addition to being able to write faster, cursive writing stimulates brain activity, particularly in areas related to language and memory.

Even copying and pasting to MS Word, the gap is still retained. The only way to eliminate the gap at the end of the first line is retype all the words.
