I think I was being needy, he goes offline after a while and hasn’t seen my texts he doesn’t wanna hangout rn He says it’s because he wants to work on himself… but I don't know he knows I miss him, we aren’t a couple we do like each other but anyone else also been through this?

Follow his lead and see if he comes back to you. Needy is not impressive. Don't "stalk him"... stay off his Social Media and respect his request for 3 weeks and see what happens... Guessing, you know.
