Too many students regret choosing this field.

There is currently a 25% unemployment rate in the field. So obviously you have to pick up skills in another field where computer science skills might compliment your new skill set. Software development is over saturated and the industry itself is trying to outsource a lot of the work overseas or automate it out of existence. So logically employment opportunities should only get worse over time.

Curiosity, passion, and problem solving skills guarantee a job in this field. The problem is, most people are only studying it out of concern for the future, with no real direction.

not sure, I see jobs posted but so many have problems as the field shrinks. I think skills have to be more specific. some cannot get jobs due to h1b sponsorship.

Computer Science is no longer the career it used to be. AI and too many people with CS degrees have over saturated the market.

A better choice today is to shift CS into cyber security.
