I did not go to college right out of high school like most of the other kids did. Today they call them "Gap Years" where kids take a year off to "find themselves." When I did it it was because I did not have the money to go to college. I worked a crappy minimum wage job. I had to figure out how to get to work on time every day without a car. Then I had to figure out how to survive in the city. I had to deal with crooked cops, and it seemed like nothing was what it looked like. The bar room downstairs was also bookie joint and the sub shop that I sometimes got sandwiches in was shuttered by the IRS for non payment of taxes. There was a major mass murder across the street.

When I finally went off the college I really was not the same as all the other kids. They all seemed very immature and not serious.

Cut ties immediately with assholes. Protect yourself as women because most most males are cockroaches in clothes. carry RAID! ha.. Be cautious and don't accept drinks from anyone and be super selective with whom you friend or befriend.
