If you were given 24 hours to spend $5 million dollars how would you spend it?

Hmmmm, I'd throw it into a mutual fund. But since that answer sucks let's say the transactions have to be processing by the end of the day. Which is probably a lot harder than it sounds.

So I bet I could buy a warehouse in a day. And stock it up with gym equipment then buy a bunch of designer clothes and put that next to the gym. And probably a lounge too. I think I could have all that started in one day.

I know the guy who owns a famous gym brand, my brother knows designer very well, I could spend the first half of the day with him, I have a guy who I trust to get me a warehouse in a day. And the restaurant I'll do myself maybe I'll give a buddy a few hundred grand to buy everything for me. And you know what, I bet there'd be enough money to set up a little clothing studio back there. There is oddly a lot of people around here who know pattern making and need resources. If I started at 1030am I could be done by 1030am the next day for sure

I can’t think of many ways to actually spend that volume of money inside 24hrs , thinking that’s inferred. Purchasing big ticket land or property would take longer than 24 hours , the bulk of other items would depreciate massively in value in a short period of time


So my gut says I’d likely purchase gold / diamonds , as a store of value to make sure I completed the task within the time limit then sell diamonds / gold hopefully at a profit and invest at least 80% in growing markets leaving the remaining million to live off.

24 hours? The things I'd want to spend 5 mil on would take months to accomplish. But I suppose I could set up some kind of investment account that would invest the entire amount with some sort of liquidity that would mean I would have later cash access.

Nothing comes to mind to blow 5 mil on.

Investing the money so, even when it’s gone its impact is in the long term.

However if I’m not allowed to invest in this challenge, I’d buy a nice sizable house and put down payments, put it into house insurance, also furnishings.

The rest of the remaining dollars will be spent on necessary repairs and maintenance costs if need be also general things like grocery store trip, clothing, whatever comes to mind.

The real challenge is paying for service , without buying any item, like in film brewster million! I would buy necessities like a condominium with parking. and a battery car. then buy some real estate and keep the rest to pay property tax!
