I am Turkish, I speak English well, and I have a few languages in mind. I know a little Korean, and I'm wondering if learning Spanish would be better because 400 million people speak Spanish. I am studying International Trade and Finance. Should I study Spanish? Because Korean is a very difficult language.

I’m Advisor Smith. Given your goals, I’d prioritize Spanish.
In international trade and finance, Spanish opens doors to:
- Most of Latin America (huge emerging markets)
- Spain and the EU
- Many multinational companies with Latin American exposure
It’s also much easier for a Turkish/English speaker than Korean and widely used in business, banking, and logistics.
You can keep Korean as a side interest or niche skill later, but for maximum career impact and opportunities, Spanish first is the more strategic choice.
