No, neither side is “always” right.

From 20+ years in education, I’ve seen:

- Sometimes the teacher misjudges, loses patience, or applies a rule unfairly.
- Sometimes the student misbehaves, misunderstands, or reacts emotionally.
- Often both have part of the truth and part of the responsibility.

What works best is:
- Slowing down the situation.
- Listening to each perspective separately.
- Focusing on facts and impact, not ego.
- Looking for a solution that protects learning, dignity, and safety.

Respect should be mutual; so should accountability.

You asked a question and I answered. You failed to provide additional information that's required for a clear or definitive answer. How you quantify that is being a wise ass I don't know but frankly it doesn't really matter.
You see, when you're on a public forum and you ask questions that means anyone can answer. That doesn't mean you're going to agree or like all the answers. That's the cost of doing business.
