The drama is definitely some of the best stuff. Late Roman history is particularly spicy for me. Western Roman History puts Game of Thrones to shame.
Romance, betrayal, spiritual development and heroism along with some of the worst recorded tragedies.
Lot's of the Fairy Tales people have heard emerged from this era.
