I don't pay rent by myself because for many people it's really unrealistic especially in this economy. Either you're married, in a relationship or have a roommate or roommates that you share the rent with.

As for living alone I do however I own a home so paying rent doesn’t apply. On the other side of things back in the day I rented an apartment & I was only paying $750 a month & before I left the jokers want to jack up the rent to $840 a month & it was cheaper for me to buy a house so I did & over time I paid off the mortgage.
