Science is the only source i seek knowledge and it is a huge part of my life since i always dive into scientific thoughts. And my question is;

How advanced is the scientific perspective of "ordinary people" in Germany? Do the public generally value scientific method and enjoy intellectual pursuits?

When i will immigrate, am i gonna be able to find intelligent friends with whom i can have deep, scientific discussions?
