I've never met someone who was smart about everything, tho I have met people very smart in their specialty areas. Like a teacher is usually pretty smart at teaching & their special subject like math or English, but then maybe won't know shit about cars, or how to put together a matching outfit yknow? They're smart in some things & dumb in others. It's neat. Kinda funny when when first find out what they're dumb at.
Like I know what I know, so it can be surprising when something I'm smart at, someone who's rlly smart turns out to be dumb at, when they're also smart at what I'm dumb at lol. Or when u only know what someone's dumb at, then find out they're super smart at something totally random.

yeah, for the most part; i don't see the value in being super smart at everything. Its like the term '' Jack of all trades, but master of none''. You're better off applying yourself to a specific field rather than trying to conquer everything.
I agree, but the full saying is "jack of all trades is a master of none, but still is better than a master of one" tho I think that's talking about being smart in like, a handful of various diff areas instead of just 1. Not literally everything.
nobody can be smart at ALL subjects...
and there would be no actual benefit to it either... would actually be a burden way too heavy to deal with
“A jack of all trades is a master of none, but often times better than a master of one.”
Breadth versus depth. We’re versatile and surprisingly adaptable as humans. We wouldn’t be at the top of the food chain if we weren’t.
