If coworkers help fund your company car through payroll, would you take it?

If it is a company car, isn't that through the company then? Why would a coworker have to contribute to something the company owns or leases

That makes no sense. So the company will provide me with a company car if the cost is docked from my coworkers' salaries? How can that even be justified? That would cause hardship and great resentment.
