I requested a 2 and half vacay off from work as I had 99 vacation hours as I’ve been working about 3 years at the job.
however I’m broke no savings & miserable on my vacay, I can't travel , go to restraunts, shop, I’m stuck at home sleeping depresed. Also I don’t like my mom’s senior apt, no ac , no room, moms a hoarder & parents r fighting daily. I used to work all day & only come home to sleep. It’s my first time living here for a whole day.
my parents Iive In a small town middle of nowhere where it’s only rich family with babies and big houses.
I had originally wanted quit as job is toxic but I realize there’s no jobs here and everything is far.
im only getting calls from jobs at cities by current job but no job offer.
I start school full time to be sonographer January so if current job Dec refuses change me to part time due to school I’ll quit but I’ll have savings by then. If they do accept I’ll have part time job as job has part time schedules.
Can I email job HR and say if I can return next wk? Do I need submit it on my adp add try to edit the vacation hours? One week I feel is enough rest as I had burn out and mental stress from coworkers but I feel fine to work again.
but I had a written warning a wk ago and moms saying I’ll be fired if I return back but maybe this isn’t true I don't know. I don’t even know if job pays Vacation hours my check is til 30th.

Yes, you can usually ask to come back early.
Here’s how I’d handle it (I’ve coached many people through similar situations):
1. Email your manager (cc HR if that’s normal there).
- Keep it short: say you’re feeling ready to return and ask if it’s possible to adjust your vacation so you come back next week.
2. Don’t change anything in ADP until they approve it.
3. If they say no, at least you know you tried; use the time to plan for school, budget, and job search.
4. The recent warning doesn’t automatically mean you’ll be fired for asking.
