Job satisfaction or big money?

The eternal toil of the working class comes with a quandary. Money or happiness? Let’s use that scale again. This time one is unbelievable joy for the work itself, but too little money to enjoy much outside of work. Ten is unbelievable sums of money but every single moment on the job is Hell on Earth.
Using this scale, what number represents your perfect balance between money and job satisfaction?

One or I won’t work. Fortunately I was able to do my dream job for my dream company. I loved it so much if society didn’t require money i’dve done it for free. I’m never in a race with the Jones’

Once you reach a certain salary, job satisfactory is more important.

Big money. Status and resources are big. Happiness can be mitigated.

Why would you want to mitigate happiness? There’s a chance that word doesn’t mean what you think it means.

Lol, rather managed. But I'll put my overall satisfaction to the side for wealth. What kind of income are we talking here though. >$1M annually?

It’s hard to say. At the 10 end of the scale, every single moment at work feels like Hell on Earth. So the money would have to be enough to afford, at a minimum, a healthy diet, regular exercise, frequent massages and regular vacations enough that such a job wouldn’t put you in an early grave. Not to mention whatever pastimes necessary to find joy outside of the job. Of course, that’s the extreme end. There are nine other options less extreme.
