I choose money. Money can buy you services. I am an introvert, and in my experience friends have their own agenda. I have been let down recently by a "friend". Around 10 to 15 years ago, a "friend" from university was plotting to rob me from cash. I deliberately lost contact with him soon after that incident.

When you are paid and successful you have lots of friends. Really only 3 or 4 of them are true friends, the rest are people you're friendly with, which is fine.
