when we compare the real successes end game 2019, Gross US & Canada
$858,373,000 but this barely a third! people didn't recommend!

$329,264,340, so 858 rounded 900, 329 rounded 300 around a third far from even HALF! the good one.

worse huge inflation since 2019 means that that smaller amount is really less value and due to expensive film tickets not like 2019 value per dollar!

so why would they praise a flop?

coincidentally the atom bomb decision was a democrat... who they tried to sway the public "we need to bring our boys home" to make democrat seem favorable... to the sheep in audience who won't THINK to ask "would that justify using poison gas"?

not even on battlefield certainly not a city!

does that "ends" goal to "bring our boys home" justify mass murdering a city? and when it didn't work... worse to "repeat hoping for a different result" that is insanity... added to mass murder.

but that is the oscars! praising the democrat propaganda despite a flop! notice! think!

I share Tom's sentiment regarding the Oscars. Daytime DJ Howard Stern has a very cogent argument why the Oscars is a superfluous act of self aggrandizement. The North American awards go to the Films that make the most revenue for the studios.

I love movies. I saw Oppenheimer, Poor Things, and The Boy and the Heron. I thought all were fine films with obviously different messages. Although I saw Oppenheimer in 2 (maybe 3) days--it was long, yes, but far from boring. I also disagree about it being a film about democratic propaganda, as written here by a responder. What nonsense. I think Killer of the Flower Moon, which I didn't see but knew what it was about from there trailers, looked like a great film and I thought that might have had a chance to win. This is one night I enjoy, I like Jimmy Kimmel and I get to see my favorite actors. Without these talented people, life would be dull. Films teach you a lot about life.
