Why does everyone hate Andy Warhol?

I’ve asked so many people and they all seem to dislike him and almost every comment about him on the internet is negative. I personally very much like him and i don’t get why no one else does. If you know who he is, what’s your opinion about him?

Most likely not because they dont like the person but because most of his work in this day & age could be done 12yr old with a computer or smartphone that any his style have been/can be copied on nearly every platform for almost any memorable image ever example😂

His work was awful, I mean one of his biggest works was a Campbell's soup can, and then he did that Marilyn Monroe thing that was basically just a collect of photo filters "before it was cool". He was a hack that relied entirely on his promotion, he could have thrown poop on a canvas, told his sycophants it was art, and everyone would have said "oh yes a masterpiece, I can even smell it, it's a 4th dimension of art"

Manzoni already did that. It’s called “la merda d’artista” and it’s literally shit in a can.
And it’s not only pop art. He was into photography and movie making, too. He literally invented instagram. He was constantly taking photos, filming everything he does, and his whole appearance is a piece of art, in my opinion.

I don't think this art work is true art but I don't have any dislike of him personally.

You dont have to be incredibly talented and create a masterpiece worthy of the entire world's parise to make something likeable. I'm personally a big fan of the simplicity in his most popular artwork with Marilyn Monroe.
