I saw an Argentinian actress when I was in Disneyland lol (can’t remember her name) I didn’t say or did something crazy. I was a kid and she was the mean girl on the show so I didn’t wanna talk to her 😂😂😂 if I saw one now, I wouldn’t care that much.. they’re just normal people 🤷🏽♀️Unless I saw Chris Hemsworth... giiiirl, id state at that gorgeous man for a few extra seconds (just like I would with ang hot dude tho so there’s that 😂 still being normal)

Yes, I saw certain famous people in my country in person. You wouldn't know any of them. Have you seen any in person?
I made a costume specifically to show Garret Wang (Ens. Harry Kim) at Edmonton Comic Expo 2017. He thought it was cool. (I am "Griddlock Cosplay" on Youtube, if you are intetested in seeing it.)
Yes and i always put my poker face on so they wouldn't be disturbed and i wouldn't look like someone who gives a shit

Yes, Robert Pattinson walked by me in The Plaza Hotel. I was like *GASP* OH MY GOD! I got into Twilight after that because it was a major bragging right in middle school. I seen Oprah in the original Yankee Stadium when I was extremely young as well.
Minor celebrity, sure... like several local people; newscasters, local tv hosts, etc. supposedly almost bumped into Steve Yzerman (spelling?) and had no clue who he was. I don’t follow sports.
I’ve met several people in related fields that are “celebs,” but only because they’re professionals in the field... no one else would probably recognize them.
I met and talked to “Bart Simpson” (Nancy Cartwright) about Brad Bird for like five minutes because she complimented my Incredibles shirt and said how much she loved the movie. Brad did some animation work for The Simpsons for a few years... as well as a bunch of Pixar/Disney/ etc work. They never met; said she was a fan of his stuff. She was cool.
I met Ray Harryhausen once at college... I had just taken a class in stop motion animation, so I showed a few ideas. He was pretty high up on the list of people to meet. He was involved in a big part of my childhood. Not many people outside of Animation or 60’s “B movies” would probably know who he was.. the name “Harryhausen” is a bit of an Easter egg in some animation movies because he’s such a name (but mostly because of his work in the field of special effects and animation).
I met Sam Wright (Voice of Sebastian from the Little Mermaid) once as a kid. We both did a “Sebastian face.” For some pictures. He was nice.
But haven’t met anyone like Beyoncé or Bieber or anyone THAT well known (at least not yet).Yeah, I lived in Los Angeles and it was pretty common out there. I mean, it wasn't an every day thing and sometimes there were Paparazzi involved, but it never really excited me. I was in the same security line right behind Amanda Seyfried at LAX once, which is I suppose the closest I've ever been. The thing is, I don't really follow celebrities so I don't always recognize who they are even though people around me seem to. Like I also sat next to some apparent celebrity at Osteria La Buca, but the only reason why I knew the guy was a celebrity was because he pulled up in Ferrari and midway through his meal, a lady walked up to him and told him that she was a huge fan of his work. That said, she was the only person to bother him so either that means that LA people know to generally leave celebrities alone or this guy just wasn't that famous.
I went to Cannes during the festivals while studying. Driving down from Paris, we arrived in the early morning at sunset. When walking down la Croisette, a red convertible with two guys honks and stops right in front of me. A handsome guy with a familiar face asks self confident if I want to join him at the hotel for breakfast. His driver looks straight ahead without even noticing me. On default I answer no thank you very much, and realize while the car is disappearing that the cheeky guy is Bradley Cooper. It took me considerably longer to figure out that he wasn’t referring to an actual breakfast 😆
Yes, several times actually. I was on the same cruise as Steven Spielberg and his family and saw them nightly since our dinner tables were next to each other. On different occasions I saw Penn & Teller, and then Rod Stewart just hanging around the Vegas strip. I have bumped into Carrot Top in a Las Vegas mall, and Lisa Leslie at a Gap outlet. I walked past James Worthy, Shaq O’Neal, and Charles Barkley when they were on their way to shoot the pre-game show (they are GIGANTIC!). Also flew on the same plane to NOLA as Jerry West (He’s the guy on the NBA logo), while on other times I have seen Verne Troyer, Laurence Fishburne, Al Roker, and the LA Galaxy soccer team at the airport. I just know that I am missing more people lol.
For the most part I was just excited to see folks I recognized and admired... except Carrot Top was insanely buff and freaked me out when I was younger. He looked like he was waiting for me to ask for a photo but instead I turned and ran out of the store! 😂I used to work at the Seattle Tacoma International Airport as a shoe shine guy, and one day I met three famous people returning from filming the "Hunt for Red October" at my shoe shine chair. The first one I shined the shoes of
James Earl Jones, about twenty minutes later I shined the shoes of Sir Sean Connery and right after that I shined Alec Baldwin's shoes. And on that same day, when I went home to my apartment, and finally met my neighbor at the time for the first time, it was Sandra Bullock.I've only seen celebrities here in Germany, i. e., actresses and professional football players. The closest thing to a US celebrity I've seen is former Secretary of State John Kerry, who was walking around without a security detail (this was after he left office).
For one female celebrity in particular, I saw her naked in my bed more than a few times. She was my girlfriend for a while until we got too afraid of getting caught and ending up in the tabloids.
I've seen many others, talked to some, and knew two in high school before they became celebrities. I was at one of these hs friend's house one time and asked her teenage kids what they thought of seeing their parents on tv. They said, "It isn't like them, so it is weird."I saw Cisco Morris who is kind of a northwestern US gardening guru & shook his hand, & I met the comedian Doug Benson while he was standing outside of the Tacoma Comedy Club. I also met the cast of the Drunken Peasants podcast & Seattle rapper Billy The Fridge.
Yes. Me and be Amanda Bynes because best friends after our meeting at Runyon in LA.
And by best friends I mean I was asking and looking at this girl who I could have sworn I know somehow as we were making eye contact then the girl I was with said " OMG that was Amanda Bynes! She had a wig on"
And now we're BFFSYes, I was in LA stating at the Sunset Marquis a few years ago. Jerry Bruckheimer and Lawrence Fishburne were both there, probably others. Just ket tgem both be. There were plenty of peopke chewing their ears off. Here in NYC, I've seen the occasional celeb. Was shoulder to shoulder with Charles Oakley (former Knicks player) once. We gave him a nod and chilled without saying a word. I really get the sense these guys want to enjoy their nights out unmolested, same as the rest of us.
Met several people from TV, couple of sports personalities, the odd movie actor.
And frankly I couldn't care less. I don't understand this culture of celebrity worship, they are just people.
Normal people.
Normal people who don't tip.Yes, I'm forced to interact with the Client / Talent aka Celebrities that we scan on set or in the local studios.
Once it's your job to communicate with the talent, you start to normalize the interactions and it becomes a normal thing.I've met about 5 Mexican celebrities but I'm not that into Mexican culture so I didn't really care that much and one time I met Bryan Cranston at a restaurant
I saw Smokey Robinson perform once.. it was magical. Also, Melvin Riley from Ready for the World is said to be my second cousin on my dad's side. Never met him though.
Yeah. In Switzerland there are some famous people like Federer, Wawrinka, Ingvar Kamprad (rip) and some more local celebs. I personally don't go to them so I don't bother them but they notice the looks and a simple smile is enough. Next time they see you they'll smile too and even come just to shake hands and say hello without anything else. If you're with people when that happens, they'll be mindfucked.
TLDR : I try not to be a nuisance in their daily life and they enjoy it.I saw the stranger things cast. Lol they were so tiny and cute. Gaten Matarazzo or as I like to call him (Toothless) he was the cutest. With his curly little afro. 😁😊
Have seen George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, and William Defoe when they did movies here. And it was no big deal, they were just normal people, doing normal people stuff. The last 3 were having lunch at The Exiles Beach Club.
considering I know an entire 0 celebrities... What they look like at least I am fairly certain I wouldn't realize if one walked up to me right now.
I’ve only seen one and he was at Disneyland. This was back in 1995 when save by the Bell was popular lol. It was that Dustin Diamond guy.
