She’s not a A list celeb at all but do y’all know Biggie from Baddies West? 💀

she just ate at my job today lol. I went over to the table and asked if their was food was good and she was really nice.

Apparently she used to work at another location and my manager said she was one of his employees. And he had no idea she was famous now so it was crazy for him to see all the workers talk and be star struck over her.

She got fired for trying to fight another employee lmao.

I posted on my story that she was here and all my friends were sliding up talking about “Take a picture of her”

But she was sitting in a corner so there was no way to take a picture without her seeing. I didn’t wanna be weird.

I’ve also seen Tracy Morgan randomly in a hotel lobby.

My sister and I saw Jim Belushi in Martha’s Vinyard years ago. but I was a kid and didn’t know who he was. He pet my sisters dog and said “hello pretty eyes”. My sister said “me or the dog? 😏” lol
She didn’t realize who he was until he walked away.

Charlie Murphy came into the bar I worked at about 15 years ago.

I was actually managing that night, and luckily it was pouring rain and kept the crowd way down on a Saturday. So this regular who was the guy who was in charge of booking entertainment at UMass comes in with Charlie and his entourage after he had played a show. He was very cordial, but also seemed like he was really enjoying being first-hand famous instead of fame-adjacent with his brother.

I took him to this smaller area in the back and tried to hide him there. One thing I gathered from his Chappelle’s Show stories was that he would absolutely slap the shit out of you if you came at him the wrong way. My big fear was that some drunk white college kid would recognize him and run up on him saying inappropriate quotes from the show. “DARKNESS!!!”…. **SLAP**

Somehow, nobody noticed them, and it turned out the annoying drunk white kid was my boss, lmfao. He comes stumbling up, and he’s like “Scuba Steeeevvvveeee!!! Yo…yo, yo…go into John’s office and get the camera, I want a picture with Charlie Murphy🥴” So I get the camera, and Charlie very kindly accommodates him, but then he keeps going “waitwaitwaitwait, one more, one more…”, like three or four more times. Here he is shaking his hand. Here he is with his arm around him. Here he is making a peace sign. Here he is making a BACKWARDS peace sign. I finally was just like “ALRIGHT, LOOKS GREAT. Thanks, Charlie.”

Definitely was a pretty cool guy though. RIP.

Yeah, a couple. At the moment, I can't recall who, it was so long ago.
I was walking pasty a bar one evening and spotted Steven Wright just inside sitting at a table and have a few drinks with his opening act that night and went in to get an autograph and meet him and they invited me to sit and talk with them for a while.
One night, after a Blondie concert, I went to the hotel where they were staying to get to meet her and, standing out front chatting away was her keyboardist, Nigel Harrison and Teddy Pendergrast's drummer. We just hung out there talking for a few hours.
For a year or two, I was working at a local record store when a guy that works on a local major news channel walks in and starts looking for country records! I'd already seen and heard him on t. v. several times by then.
There might be a couple others but, I've had LOTS of intentional meetings with celebs over the decades.

I’ve met a gospel artist, a famous bible study pastor and the former president of the 700 club at churches I visited. My cousin was a news station broadcaster in China, along with a girl my parents invited for a Christmas party 15 years ago and one of my fellow classmates in school is a successful news anchor in Hamilton. I also met a famous celebrity who freestyles with Kendrick Lamar, he challenged me to a game of chess at the library. And I met a 24 year old celebrity. I don’t know his name but I know he quit school for a while to work as a professional rapper. I also met a famous musical writer and a famous screen writer. And one of my classmates from high school worked as a professional actor. I know cause I attended a performance he played in. We have not spoken since high school.

I'd likely never go out of my way to talk to a celebrity anyway if I met one unless I felt it was appropriate. They have their own lives and shit to do throughout the day. I'm not going to go out my way for them unless it was something I'd do for anyone else.

I met three. They are the most famous in my region. One i was very hesitant to greet bcs i loved him so much and i was afraid he will not be so nice. He turned out to be nicer than i thought. He waited for me to leave and didn't just greet me and leave. The other one was really old anf frail unlike i see him on tv so I didn't want to bother him. Sure seen a few national celebs and met a few too. But they're just human, I'm not a fanboy for much and if I am then it's for what they do, not who they are. I don't get starstruck for celebs. Though, they sometimes have a unique perspective that can be quite interesting in conversations.

One time I was boarding a flight in LA, and noticed Bob Saget sitting in row 1. He had sunglasses on looking out the window and his phone, maybe trying to blend in kind of thing. I was actually just a few rows back as the last seat in first class as walking by I said hi and mentioned how much I'm a fan. I didn't hold him up that much since it was a single-aisle plane. Yeah, but more for professional reasons. I’ve met several. The only celebrities I’ve seen in public who I did not meet or interact with are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

I have met Ben Affleck, John Fogerty, Charlize Theron, and an entire band that was popular on the Disney Channel at the time but I can’t remember their names.

I have seen Celebrities out in the public. Often trying to do the same thing that I am trying to do. Having a nice meal or enjoying a function with their family. I consider it to be rude to: Take Pictures, Ask for Autographs, or even keep watching them.
