Is there anything actually on Oak Island besides nothing?

What do you think? They have been at it for 11 seasons and found no gold or much of anything else except rocks. Is the booty already gone? Who would go through all that trouble but never come back for what they hid? Like what elves constructed the flood tunnels? No human could dig it and line it with rocks 120 feet underground and not get panic attacks from claustrophobia. They've dug enough holes for one hundred 18-hole golf courses. Is there really treasure there or has it already been claimed?

Who knows? They just need to go 10 more seasons so they can all retire on the reruns.

I have been watching every season and even remember it being on “in search of “ and my Mother had the original Readers Digest article. I believe there was once a treasure but it has long since been claimed.
the one thing the series has changed in my mind is that I once thought it was a revolutionary time period deposit. Now I think it was a Templar deposit. But I still wonder why they would pick that island over the many others.

I know, especially with all the artifacts from different time periods. You figure people were there to bury or dig up something. Who is going to bury treasure and not come back for it?

They waste so much time going to Europe and talking to people about what might be buried there, but none of that helps them find anything. All they've found is a couple of coins, some buttons, and a lot of broken tools.

Best thing to do is record the show, then skip to the scenes where they actually find anything.

I think that I am 60/40 on the treasure. 60% there is a treasure still down there. And 40% they already took out what treasure was there. Still the archeologic evidence there is pretty interesting. The idea that the Knights Templar enlisted the Vikings to ferry some treasure out to Newfoundland is crazy.

Heck- Survivor is in something like its' 46th "season" , they have TV shows about pawn shops, and air fryers, so anything is possible

The show has become a tourist beacon driving the economy in a relatively depressed region. No one’s in a rush to find anything. Even if they did, they’d milk the discovery over several seasons.
