Being honest, it's a shit programme. The dialogue and relationship between Penny and Sheldon is probably what saves the show though.

Having never seen her inanything else I can't really comment on her acting skills. She's playing an average white girl who's job it is to not understand most of what's going on, for comedic value. Not like she's being asked to play Lady McBeth is it?

I do. She's likely has family contacts in the buisness or had to grant sexual favours to a producer to get her acting career started or both. That's why I think #METOO is a load of shit.

Well the Big Bang Theory is a terrible show and a good actress can't save a bad script with a bad director.
I've never seen her in anything else so I'm not sure what her range is, but nobody's their best selves on that show.

  Bad writing + High viewership by people saying "oh I know what they're referencing!!" = 10 seasons too many getting financed.

  And why would they be making money? And gettng high views if it was a terrible show? Terrible shows are cancelled by the network. Prime example marvels inhumans only last 1 season because it was "terrible"
  You can say in your opinion its terrible because its not to your liking. But doesn't mean its actually terrible just means its not your sort of show

  The writing is bad, it's really not a debateable topic. It's lazy and nobody would laugh if a laughtrack didn't cue them to. Popularity does not inherently equal quality.

  It is coming down. It's my wife's and I favorite show and has been for years. We always said once they start getting married and having kids it will ruin the show. Same thing happened with Friends years ago.
