I have never seen Fantasia 2000

I adore that fairy at the end. I was okay with most of it, though I was bored seeing Sorcerer's Apprentice a second time. That final segment though, is about the only thing that compares to the original. Even then, it has nothing on Night on Bald Mountain. The Spring Fairy, in spite her best efforts, can't beat how badass Chernabog was.

He was pure nightmare fuel. And that's saying something, for a cartoon character! Many mistook him for the literal devil. Easy mistake, given his portrayal. You knew most of those he was torturing deserved it. Otherwise, you wanted to feel sorry for them. And his rampage seemed like it would never end... until the holy bells put him in his place. It definitely left an impression on me.

Despite my love for the original, I never saw this one. It seemed more like a gimmick than a new Disney production.

I could be wrong. Maybe I should watch it some time.

watch it just beware of the cringe inducing celebrity parts in between each segment. The segments themselves are quite good though, especially rhapsody in blue and firebird suite

Sorcerers apprentice I loved. Rhapsody in blue is a great tune on its own but Fantasia didn’t add to it.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice is in the first Fantasia though, not 2000.

the idea was that Fantasia was supposed to be continually released with new segments replacing older ones while still keeping others in. so putting socerer's apprentice in the new film was kinda related to that idea.

MMmm even then I couldn't remember, I was very young so I don't think I understood it much. Still, the way they designed the visuals was just amazing. I remember being wowed by it hahaha

This is an interesting entry. I did not see this one coming. I saw this in theaters! Love the modern cameos! It's fun, you can contrast them with the original

I watched it as child. They were advertising the hell out of it, and showing it in IMAX. I remember my parents and I went to go see it, and we all thought it sucked.
