Okay, a lot of you don't seem to understand that the princess I have listed are specifically MY favorite princesses even though it says it in the description.
These are MY favorite princesses, now what are yours? Now who is YOUR favorite princess?
Kida, Pocahontas, Belle n Jasmine. Kida coz she is so badass, n caring n cool n got me interested in crystals as a teenager. Pocahontas coz she is a nature lover, n chooses her people over her true love. Belle coz she's endurable through fucking anything it seems n doesn't care what someone looks like n she is total geek n bookworm lol n smart to boot. And Jasmine who is not about yo get married just because its the law which is so fucking stupid. And she sussed out Aladdin pretty quick lol.

I am going to claim Rapunzel for sure but there are so many Disney princesses. But and not just because its new but Vanellope from wreck it ralph has been called a princess and honestly she could be the funniest for me, not glamourous or royalty but down to earth and fun. Although you could say the same for Rapunzel. But for sure a more adult version of her of course :)
and I hate those conversations about princesses. Honestly, it is kind of romantic and being a guy I almost want to be a princess too. Equality and rights but just being able to be the object of someone's affection. To be treated justly and nicely and kindly. Darn it! Everyone loves the royal queens of England but you bring up princesses in fairy tales watch out, so stupid
Cinderella. Because I a sucker for Ilene Woods' voice. A fellow who worked on the movie put it best, "She had a voice like a whisper." I even dated a girl in high school who looked and sounded just like her - that was not intentional. We just happen to have been sat together and hit it off in class.

Mulan, Moana, Kida, Anna, Elsa, Belle. I prefer the ones that don’t sacrifice everything for a prince and can fend for themselves. Anna was desperate and had no experience with other people outside the castle until the coronation day, so I can let her off. Merida’s story isn’t as interesting as the others.
The only one I really like is Merida. I'm not a big fan of all the princess stories and thankfully my daughter is more into superheroes and Harry Potter.
Tiana and Mulan because they both actually had to work hard to get what they want. Their happy ending wasn't just handed to them on a plate like it was for Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.

I only know about a few. Like even the ones you mentioned, I don't know much about them because I haven't read or watched any of their stories, I just know their faces and their names. 😐😐
Rapunzel, because she’s fun and her relationship with Flynn sounds realistic. I also like Merida because she’s the proof that a woman doesn’t need a man to be happy
Probably Jasmine, Aladdin is one of my fav Disney movies of all time. I guess its because she was a wealthy woman and had everything but she could still be cool with a guy who was just a peasant on the streets.
I should add I understand that those other characters had to deal with their own struggles, especially Cinderella and the whole background story of her and her sisters but Aladdin was a cool movie, the songs, the story line, the jokes, and I loved genie (RIP to Robin Williams)
My favourite is Elsa not because she has ice powers but because she's independent and selfless that she hid herself away from her sister Anna to protect her
I simply listed MY favorite DISNEY princesses. IDGAF what lesson it teaches kids.
P. s Disney princess don't teach kids that. Thats what aduts get out of the show but thats not what kids get out of it. Kids don't pay attention to movie themes. They don't understand that in most Disney princess movies that the them is they need a man to save them. All kids know is that there is a pretty princess/handsome prince in the movie that they want to be or be like.
