Bands such as bTS, blackpink, twice...BTS
Blackpink
Twice
It's similar to European and American pop, but just an even more feminine boy band version of it. Even more feminine than J. Bieber and 1D. It's not my taste, but the music doesn't bother me either.
I do however think it's quite questionable when people over 20 years old finds K-pop stars extremely physically attractive considering they looks young for their age. I knows a lot of them are in their 20s and early 30s, but it still doesn't change many of them can easily pass as someone between 13 - 17 years old in terms of looks. They've a natural youthful appearance and dressing younger won't make it anything better.
There exists Western old looking people who's 25+ years old who gets sexually turned on by K-pop stars most Western thinks look 14 years old. One thing is that a K-pop star who looks 14 dating another K-pop star who looks the same, but I would say it goes too far when old people are getting wet by them.
Over hyped, there is some catchy stuff from, I think it's some of the girl groups, but catchy doesn't mean I like it. But most of it is over hyped in the way that aloof people that sing it's praises are doing the thing of, I can't be racist I have black friends, like I can't hate other cultures I listen to k pop. Granted I'm in the same boat. I love nine treasures a folk Mongolian metal band, and I'm British so my live for them may be superficial but I adore the blending of traditional instruments with modern rock, but I don't act like I love them for more than that novelty. I do genuinely like them but I do belive part of that love is the novelty, k pop is the same for a lot of people but with out that unique selling point of this or that gimic
K-Pop artists are some of the most highly trained artists in the world today. For that, as a musician, I really respect and look up to the producers, choreographers and songwriters. However, it's also a really superficial art project... I mean, are they trying to create music or barbie dolls? It gets confusing sometimes because music is not perfection, it's artistic expression, and they try to blend the two together when they cannot be blended. Sadly the K-pop industry is all about the money and not the art. I used to like it when they made real music with meaningful lyrics but nowadays all the songs are bland and the same, just like American mainstream pop...
There are artists I like because of their pure talent though.
I listen to some BTS songs like fake love and idol, and i know that there is a guy named jimin in the groupe, but i can’t name them all and I think they look the same 😂. I was never a fan of the boys bands, even in the Jonas brothers and one direction era I just listened to some of the good songs they have and that’s it, but I wasn’t a big fan of them.
It’s dopee and I love it even more because I am korean myself. As much as I appreciate the global success it’s getting, sometimes I really miss old school kpop because it will never be the same as before
Sorry for the late reply, but these are some of my favorites. Mainly because some of them have breakdowns that you don’t see in kpop songs nowadays

I like it, it was very influential in today’s music! 😊👍🏼
God they annoy me...
Almost my whole fuckin family hears them but for some reason unlike other music they gotta only hear that and dance to it altho they're literally unoriginal lesbian guys trying to get girls (and succeeding for some reason...) by wearing make up and being Asian which somehow makes em' special...
I mean I'm not against them, but they fuck up your brain just like anime and in my opinion they have bad music and add English to have a bigger audience...
Didn't mean to offend any one..
I don't like the concept of korean bands. They make up a big group but generally, only 2-3 of them are good singers, the rest can't really sing. It's all about looks.
The only band that really rocked was DBSK because all five of them had amazing voices.
When I listen to korean music I listen to Park Hyo Shin, K. Will and others who really sing.
I think Korean is not a good singing language, especially when it's mixed with weird ass English lmao
They have no "strong" words that could hold the song down a little and give it more "weight", which makes it sound like a huge stream of music that doesn't pause at a certain point, making it inconsistent overtime
i don't know. i like male musicians to be masculine and those korean guys are too cute. i have only heard a few kpop songs and i already think kpop is more about the show that these artists put on rather than making great music. they're so glamorous and colorful but i don't get heir music
*Remembers the countless days my aunt would play KPOP songs over and over* It's... Nice, but I have no idea what the lyrics mean so I don't really care
Kpop is too weird of a genre for me to enjoy honestly..
Been into kpop since 2007, but I’ve slowly been put off from the new generation of songs. It’s not really my type, especially girl groups
It’s not my thing, but these kpop groups clearly have a solid group of fans around the world so good for them.
I feel rather sad looking at Kpop boys. My female friends look at them and go crazy while I'm here wondering what happened to the appeal of the traditional man.
Like any other genre. there's good shit and bad shit.
I like the ones with the girls but usually I watch them muted.
My bartender friend in a local bar loves K-Pop girls and is always playing their videos in his bar. One of my running jokes is that they're all cloned by North Koreans in a lab as a way to invade South Korea through pop culture since they tend to have very similar proportions, height, and if it wasn't for significant variations in hair style and hair colors and such, I might not be able to distinguish them... but all very attractive to me.
I'll take the British Invasion any day of the week.
Honestly, I just don’t like it because I don’t understand a word of what they’re saying. A couple of my friends like it tho (only BTS tho)
I started getting into them more because my mum and I watch a lot of k dramas. Its athing that she and I do. So it kinda progressed from there
The girl groups are full of beautiful women. But I dont really like the music, or the hip-hop influences.
It's over hyped garbage music, it's nothing special
I think Korean chicks are pretty hot. The boy bands look very gay and something to come out of the 80's 90s.
They're ok. But some of there fans are absolute fanatics/zealots
I don't really like it because of the immature fan-base
