What is your opinion on K-pop?

I like some groups and their songs but some just sound ALIKE what do you think?

I love kpop songs , I'm an army , and a blink , I also listen to iu , hawasa , gidle , jessie , and twice , their songs are SO SO SO SO SO AMAZING !!! My bias form BTS is Jin , my bias from blackpink is Lisa

I don’t know enough about it to form an opinion.

I have heard only one song by BTS and it wasn’t my type. My friends are obsessed with K-drama and K-pop.. it’s not my thing though. I’ve never really cared to watch k-drama (well, I did watch one, but it was too sappy and corny for my taste and I forgot it’s name.. I think it’s called “crash landing”?). As for the music, it’s not my thing.

Its interesting. Kpop is less about the music itself and more about the spectacle of it all. Often times the music is repetitive and pretty systematic. There are expectations like IU but in general it’s very Chorus heavy synthetic sounding stuff it reminds me of the pop songs from like 2015. It’s not awful and it helps that I speak a bit of Korean.

As i live in a country that most girls love kpop, even tho my besties since mid school to college they are listening kpop, but for me nah.. its really really not my thing.
I meant i had listen to few of it cuz my besties keep pressured me to listen to it and promised me that i would love them.. once twice 3rd 4th times nah.. i can't love even like it even 1% nahhhh

Yes I love K-pop and K-dramas. I listen to K-pop more than Pop as the songs are deep (not all some are trashy too but most are great) and do actually have a meaning most of the time, most (not all) of the pop songs have slangy words and are sexual especially rap ones. It's catchy and totally my type. K-pop helped me a lot in my music journey too. Life of Kpop idols is motivating and it keeps me up working hard. I would have given up way early if not for K-pop. Totally my type.

I don’t like it cause I prefer lyrical songs I understand in English - I don’t hate it either, but it sounds too electronically simulated for me, I prefer organ music and traditional cultural music or invigorating rhythms around self expression rather than passively viewed participation in a musical performance.

I know nothing about K-pop, I’ve only heard a friend of mine talk about Blackpink and BTS because she was crazy after them but I don’t know anything about them at all.

However, I have watched some Korean movies (especially zombie movies) and I liked them a lot.

I like K-pop and I also like Korean drama. Although the groups are no longer as popular, two K-pop songs I like are "So Cool" by Sistar and "Hush" by Apink.

Never actually listened to K- pop. My old roommates used to listen to that band in the middle on top. They said that they were one of the best at the time… but I have never cared to listen.

Some songs are catchy but I have seen to much illmunati/occult symbols in their music videos, also its overly sexualized in many cases and a lot of the guy seem to be very gay/feminine
