What do you think about music overall?

Imagine music was never invented/ discovered ( difficult to say if it’s an invention or something people bey coincidence stumbled upon and expanded)

I love music.
I began to seriously study music theory about a year ago, mainly to try to understand the reasoning behind what music teachers had been telling me while learning guitar.
They would tell me things, but not be able to explain the reasoning behind what they were saying.
They would just say, "That's the way it is."
After so many years of that, I told myself that I had to figure out where all of this information was coming from and how it logically fits together.
So, I began to study on my own.
I had no idea the depth of the rabbit hole I was going into when I began.
It has led me to try to determine the origins of music.
The subject is absolutely fascinating to me.

Music is what is supposed to bring harmony and joy to the world. Music can be very relaxing, and if it is soft music, pretty and soothing music, that's good for the body, mind, and soul. It's good for blood pressure, it's calming, it can be happy music, or it can be sad songs. Music is what made dancing possible. Music makes our Christmas special because of all the songs about Christmas. Once people discovered how to sing many eons ago, that is how music first got made. Music has evolved in so many types over the last century or so. We cannot imagine how music will be in the next century!!

Music is the greatest psychology in the world..

Music is a place and time in history, a feeling and emotion that vibrates our soul. Music has complimented us during our best times, and lifted us during our darkest. Music has given a voice where words have no meaning. Music helps heal mental illness and assists people in learning how to strengthen motor skills. Music can heal and bring the world together, music is love.

If the world never had music, it would be dull and boring. Humans would have a hindered ability to connect as music forces connection through emotion. Imagine parties without music, everyone would just become bored

I think that music always would be here regardless of whether or not it was discovered/invented because music can be any audible noise. But if we were somehow not wired to percieve or care about music, then we'd be more interested in other things that we can sense. Like visual things, touch related things, taste, etc.

I think music is a source of connection for people. It’s the best art form on Earth, in my opinion...

The way music syncs with certain memories, people, feelings... the visuals it can create in your head. There’s way more to it than just listening.

It’s a vibrational bridge to other people and the world around us, even imaginary ones. Music has really been a form of escapism for me in these recent times. Just remembering and wishing... hoping for better times and experiences ahead.
