People posting shit like that are generally middle class kids using google image search and then trolling. You can tell by what they think being rich is all about. They have those new money dreams Most rich kids are kind of lonely social losers… Their parents have funds, they have little to no real friends and when they have people over it’s mostly fake bullshit. They’re set with their trust fund at 18, go to a school they want to go to, and their parents usually buy them a house to live in, and get them good jobs through their business connections that make their lives financially easy, but it’s really not all about that flash and they’re generally really awkward lonely people.
No it's there are legitimately children that flaunt their wealth and lifestyle in this way. Watch the documentary rich kids of Instagram. Also, why do you assume they're faking it btw? Why is it so hard to believe there are rich people in this world? I'm asking because I've seen some other comments like yours. Is it jealousy? Too good to be true?
Nope, I’m just speaking from experience. I grew up around a lot of rich kids. For example just picking several random ones I knew. Trulia says their parents houses are worth $12.2 million (use to play soccer with him), $24.5 million (went to his house sometimes to drink beers smoke weed and ride jet skies in the ocean), $8.95 million (We use to hang out at his house on Fridays before going out for the night), $24.9 million (one of my older brothers closest friends since middle school)…. They weren’t Warren Buffett, but they were reasonably rich.
Soccer guy and his sister were pretty chill and low key about their wealth; he was pretty humble. He had a lot of fake people trying to be around him and use him and had a hard time making friends. I use to hang out at his house in elementary school and was probably one of his only real friends. We use to do basic things like practice soccer, watch TV, play video games, blah blah blah (normal kid stuff). We were on the same soccer team when we won the mayor cup. We went to different high school but I saw him from time to time and he was just as award and lonely at that time. Years latter my brother was at a rich kid party and he was asking my brother about me and trying meet back up with me. It’s hard to find genuine friends when you’re rich.
Jet ski guy, I didn’t really like. He was kind of a dork. He was friends with a friend of a friend so I ended up there sometimes with other people. He seemed really desperate for friends and didn’t really fit in.
Friday night kid was the son of an Italian captain in the mob. He and this kid Anthony (son of a wise guy) were friends since they were like 5 so the rich kid kind of tagged along with us since Anthony was friends with one of my close Italian friends. Rich kid was really weird and treated his nanny more like his mom than his own mom. He was really shy and awkward. I saw him get hustled for his gold jewelry before I really knew him and no one stood up for him. He had no friends to have his back… His parents just use to stay on the upper floor alone and they didn’t really speak to their children. It was weird. His bedroom walls were plastered floor to ceiling with playboy centerfolds. He just didn’t seem all that normal.
Brothers rich friend treated my brother like his best friend into their mid 20s even through they didn’t hang out much because everyone around him was so fake as he put it.
I knew a lot of kids that fit the basic stereotype. Sometimes they hung out with us or came to our parties, but in general they weren't all flashy about their wealth. That flash generally happens with people that are upper middle class or newly rich new money people that dreamed of being able to buy all sorts of flashy shit. People that have experience with wealth tend to try to hide it because it causes a lot for problems for them.
Why are you generalizing all rich kids as being a certain way? Did you see the documentary? And go look at tekashi 69's Instagram it's the definition of flashy. That doesn't necessarily mean they're middle class lmfao he's a multi millionaire.
Having a couple of million doesn’t mean you’re rich. Shit 20% down payment on a mortgage for jet ski guy’s parents house would be 5 million alone. There are plenty of doctors, layers, pharmacists, etc. that pile up a few million in savings in their life. I don’t consider that to be rich. Shit my grandparents had like 3 or 4 million at some point. They lived a middle class life style, but my grandfather was in banking and he use to make deals with a lot of wealthy people in palm beach. Just because you’re not living pay check to pay check doesn’t mean you’re rich… Like I said new money usually goes for flash. People that are actually wealthy don’t tend to do that.
I don't know which documentary you're watching but some of those kids are so rich they could afford helicopter rides like most people take taxis. The multimillion dollar heiress Lana girl destroyed her birkin bag which cost like around 30K because she "felt like it." Also, she spends like 15K-20K per month on just shopping and she thinks the average person has 3 to 5 thousand per month to spend as well on clothes, shoes, bags etc like herself.
I’m not watching documentaries, I’m thinking of kids I went to school with. You know the real life experiences… I guess there are some people that are wealthy that project the image of wealth just for celebrity value like the Kardashians, but that’s all an act in the messed up world of influencers we live in now. They show off to make a reality show or documentary out of it so people can gawk at their excess and depravity for entertainment value. That shit is not how average rich kids are. It’s just a fiction like a movie.
Everyone is different... there are some people very proud of their wealth and they love showing it off.
You're kind of stupid if you think that just because you have some friends who are "dorks" there aren't others in this world who like to flaunt what they've got
I grew up in the Beverly Hills of Florida… Adam Sander sends checks to my parents company. Like I said I grew up around a like of rich people… But sure you can learn everything from a 2 hour documentary or whatever… That makes you way more informed than 30+ years living in and around wealthy people and have real relationships with them… lol
just because you know like 2 wealthy people inrl that doesn't mean it represents ALL of them. of course there are some that humble but in this post im talking about those who aren't. stop being irrelevant please.
Yeah you're right a documentary trumps decades of experience... Here you go just watch this and when you’re done you'll develop video games better than anyone in the industry...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhaT78i1x2M
But why stop there, why not watch this and automatically become the beter than a heart surgeon with 30+ years of experience.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rpe7_Ro3e8o
Do you even listen to yourself? Textbook moron...
I don't need to watch a documentary to know that there's people in the world who brag, and there's some who don't you idiot. Do you have to watch a documentary to know there's pedophiles? It's common sense. Now, as it appears you have none, allow me to find someone more intelligent to converse with.
They seem immature.
They fail to see value in little things.
They obviously can't handle money well.
All in all though, growing up like that, it's not really a surprise.
They never learned otherwise after all.
I understand you feel that way but just a serious question. What is so wrong with showing off your wealth? If you've got it flaunt it right?
I've never been a show off myself but I don't mind those who are.
There are simply so many better ways to spend that money on though.
It doesn't bother me that they use it for whatever they see fit.. but that they don't see it's value, are arrogant, lack empathy and are ungrateful in many cases.
It's not about their actions but more about their character.
I don't mind looking at the expensive stuff they post, sometimes it looks good. But it is dumb. Even being rich, it is impractical and dumb to spend that much money on cars, watches and clothes.
A 5$ watch will tell the same time as a $10000. In fact, you have to be less worried about losing it or damaging it. And you can get some classy looking watches that look good and don't cost as much.
Same thing with cars, dumb idea to spend that much on them. Not worth it. Doesn't get you from point a to b any faster.
I prefer a rich person who is sensible and practical, over these punks
None of that would make me happy. A car is used to get you from point A to point B - having a nice car makes no difference - it simply means you are more likely to get vandalized and robbed by people who hate you because you look happier than them on the outside.
That's a nice point but being rich can allow you to have the means to get security etc. Also, money may not be able to buy happiness but just imagine having a mega yacht and just chilling in your sauna enjoying that view and being able to go on vacations whenever you wanted and having a beautiful mansion.
That wouldn't make me happy either. I already have peace in my heart because I have God in my life and have served Him for years.

I can’t hate them! As I looked through the pictures I couldn’t help but to think “nice watches” 😂
What's the point of being rich if it comes at the cost of being morally bankrupt and acquiring a snobby attitude?
Wouldn't you be more Impressed if they were rich... had nice character and were more modest and humble about it? It's just a more Impressive and mature display of their character.
It's good that they have privilege.. if your family work hard you should be allowed to enjoy these things... but teaching your kids manners and good character is free... and these kids come off as twats... I mean look at that post with the "how scholarship kids fit in" caption... why? Why would you even produce something like that? 🤣🤣... it's kind of bordering on pathetic in my opinion..
It's not about the money... its how they are going about things...
First of all don't believe everything you see on the internet.
Now assuming even one of those is real, I'd feel sorry for them. A spoiled brat is missing a huge lesson in his/her life.
They will never be able to appreciate anything, they will never be satisfied and if - I don't say I wish that to anyone, just a hypothesis - they ever loose all that luxury they will loose themselves.
They are not used to work to gain something, so they will grow up thinking the world owns them everything, and will have a hard time to adjust to a different reality and conditions.
And for that I blame their parents.
Little rich fucks that never work a day in their life but think they're entitled to every cent their dads give them.
I hate reality TV but I'd love a show where the parents just cut them off and kick them out of the house and you get to watch them cry, and that's the entire show.
The temptation is there to be all like "oh yeah they're a bunch of self obsessed, spoilt cunts" etc but let's face it at the end of the day, anyone with that amount of wealth is bound to brag about it. It is what it is. Personally I wouldn't be flashing it all over social media.
Yes, I don't see whats so wrong with flaunting it if you've got it. People get so offended by people showing off, that just shows how deeply insecure they must be about their own lives. Just ignore them if it bothers you oh well.. too bad.
You know half of those could just be sarcastic jokes by regular people or attempts to look rich by regular people.
And if they're not, well, growing up rich contributes to shaping a certain attitude, just like growing up regularly or poorly does.
There's a documentary rich kids of Instagram watch it. There's legitimately rich people who just flaunt their wealth for the world to see...
There's a whole documentary about Instagram rich kids?
Indeed there is. Why is it so hard for you to believe there aren't rich people in this world who behave in this fashion? Is ot envy? You think the lifestyle is too good to be true? Anyways there are good and bad people in every group rich, poor, black, or purple..
When did I ever imply it was hard to believe? That was an odd lashing out.
Of course such people exist, do I envy them, no. I'm quite well off myself, and I furthermore know that wealth isn't what's important in life. People who spend all their days obsessing over money and material gain lead very hollow lives.
I doubt you make anywhere close to multi millions or billions like some of these kids do.
No, I didn't say that either. I just said I was well off.
Why so randomly hostile?
Well then thats certainly not well off then. How much money do you make? Not hostile just a curious person.
I think you've blown the term "well off", out of proportion if your criterion is multi-billion dollar earnings. I'm a student, but I live in my family mansion at the countryside and have never wanted for nothing, so that's my definition of well off. Well off doesn't really imply vast wealth, just above average. However, I will start working my first job this summer where my wages will be around 20,000 kronor, quite a good wage for a summer-job. I don't know how much that is in dollars our pounds though.
Well you're an average human being then nothing to be proud of lol.
Not really average. That's what I would say well off entails, being above average but of course not in the same legue as these kids. But again, never said I was proud, what's with the putting words in my mouth? I've already said that wealth isn't what's important in life. You say you're not being hostile but your commentary suggests you're trying to denigrate me.
Jeez why are you so overly sensitive? 😂😂
Not sensitive XD The tone in writing is of course always easy to misinterpret. I'm just analyzing. But I'm noting that you're not really answering the question, regardless.
by the way you kinda look like draco malfoy lmao. Hair color seems a tad artificial is it dyed?
Malfoy is actually a first XD I'm way too buff to be Draco. No, it's not dyed, but it appears much lighter in daylight, where that pick was taken. It's somewhere along dirty blonde usually! Possibly sandy-blonde, but I'm not sure how big a difference there is.
Buff lol u look chubby like i could pinch ur cheeks 😂
Haha, I get enough of that from elderly! Might be a bit weird from a peer as well.
I was gonna continue bullying u but since u have a nice attitude about it I'll stop lol 😂
Nothing really. No reason why you can't have fun if you have the means.
you don't think its a bit snobby bragging that much? a lot of people got super pissed at them
It's understandable. It's hard to be humble if you haven't been raised that way. It's up to parents to try to instill decent values in their kids. Some wealthy parents throw money at the problem. They employ a nanny, they send the kids to boarding schools, they don't actively parent. They just give the kids money to go away.
They were just lucky to be born to rich parents and did nothing to deserve their wealth and most of them act like snobby spoiled brats. I had to work very hard to become the multi millionaire I am today.
Most of them are just hood-rich. I'd bet my watch and chain that their parents liquid-cash reserves are under 6 digits. The flexing is a dead give-away.
what is hood rich? also, there are some rich kids who acc brag about their wealth to this degree which are legitimately rich and own private jets and yachts and lambos etc.
"Hood-Rich" is when new-money goes out and buys a Lambo and 12 Patek watches.
new money goes out?
Honestly wealth and privledge is not enough so they seek attention on Instagram.
That guy looks like someone I used to date. poop. :/
Go watch the documentary rich kids of Instagram. It's legitimate
YouTube.
I think they're lucky and good for them to be able to enjoy such comfortable life.
how do you handle it? lol
@Poormanscomedian I'm handling just fine lol!
send me your porshe when it gets a dent in it
When are the poor people going to rebel? Capitalism doesn't benefit anyone, except for a very small minority
wrong , their bi product helps others. Something is better than nothing
you think Socialism is the answer but it is worse. You only get enough to get by and lose your freedoms. You need permission to take a crap. Can't say anything that could be negative towards the state.
Better this way. Equality, equal opportunities for anyone regardless of their race, sex or socioeconomic class
Dont care for them. They aren't my problem to deal with lol
I know nothing about Snapchat but I do know a spoiled rich brat just like the ones in the pictures. To say she has her head up her own ass would be a understatement.
Spoiled brats who aren't going to get anywhere once their parents stop spoiling them
If I was immensely wealthy I wouldn't spend my money on most of the shit these people waste it on.
then what would you spend your money on?
NOT $30K watches that tell the same time as $30 watches, and cars that can theoretically do 230 mph but in reality never get close because the traffic is so bad here. I would get things that actually make my life enjoyable, or (gasp) even benefit others, not things that show other people how rich I am.
Could not care less, stop being so butt hurt that your parants are loosers and that you also are one. Ither get your shit together or fuck off.
Losers*
Just narcissistic, self important twits, being stupid narcissistic, self important twits.
If they're kids, they obviously did nothing to accrue those things so fuck them up the arse hard.
it's not their fault they were born rich just like it's not someones fault they were born poor. they're lucky and blessed in life. i think people should be happy about others successes in life rather than hateful and jealous.
you don't have to spend your time being jealous. why don't you do something to further yourself in your life and make money? at 33 years old, are you satisfied with where you are? what your job is and how much money you're making? re-evaluate your life choices if you want that kind of luxury. only difference between the rich and poor is a brain.
While it is true that there ARE other factors that make one more privileged than the other doesn't mean that it's impossible to get to the top. You just have to work harder. There are people that have gone from rags through riches. It just takes hard work and dedication and you can accomplish whatever you want in life. Everyone in America has the opportunity to succeed and go to school. The only excuse for failure is yourself.
It's good that you say you're happy but you should always aim for higher in life. 90% of the time people don't fail they just don't aim high enough. I think people should stop looking for excuses about why they aren't as successful or wealthy as the other and just work hard and focus on their own goals. There's people who matter and there's people who don't. You make the choice who you wan't to be. My father immigrated from Cuba and he didn't speak a word of English, worked as a dishwasher and now he has a very successful business and we are living in a 2.5 million dollar home. My mom is a housewife and he is the only one working in the family taking care of 5 children. You think that was easy for him to do? He didn't grow up wealthy with anything handed to him. There are families with 3 people working and they still barely make enough income to pay off the rent.
I think it's fine as long as it's not demeaning to others.
I don't know any. However , I have seen the Emerald Rolex for sale before.
I also have around 15 Rolex's myself , and I am not rich. Most of mine are stainless steel though. How could rich kids fail? Their parents can finance any business they want. No loans from banks. So, they can start a business with a no debt. Anybody that loses a business like that has to be stupid, or useless.
I like the ones that use "we" , I am like no, I know your dad is successful , but what have you done? To me they have to do their own thing and prove themselves.
LaurenOK is one of them
who? lol
She is the one that posts pics of her self and thinks the Charlie Rich's song "Did you happen to see the most Beautiful girl in the world " was written for her.
is she even pretty lol
I don't think so , but to each her own
Soon I'll be like them.
And that girl on the second pic low key turns me on.
um ok? that was really random..
Random indeed just like that second pic.
ur a creep
Yeah it's not my fault I'm straight. So what do you want me to do? You just don't like what I said? Well that's not gonna change anything even if I or we don't say it.
you have control over what you say and your actions though. thats like the argument of "its not my fault i raped her its cus of how she was dressed'
Except I'm not raping her or anything. How oppressed. I'm not even saying she have to control what she's gonna wear because she has the rights to wear what ever she wants even if she's naked. I have the rights to say anything I want if that's the case.
lmao when did I say you raped her? i was giving an example. also, you shouldn't have the right to sexually harass anyone in real life or make inappropriate comments towards them. imagine making gross pervy comments like this in real life at work, or school, or to a stranger? totally rude and uncalled for no matter which way you try twisting it. think about if someone said that to your mom or future daughter or sister? its disrespectful. period.
also, let me make a point very clear: just because women dress up doesn't mean they do so to get EVERY single males attention on the street esp the ones they are not attracted to at all.
"you have control over what you say and your actions though." So what if I say that? You have a control over not to dress like that. So what's your point of calling me a creep? And sexually harass? That was just a comment. In that case I can accuse her of being a slut but you don't want that. "inappropriate comments" So can I say that pic is inappropriate as well? "think about if someone said that to your mom or future daughter or sister?" Well I wouldn't be surprised if someone say that if she's dressed that way. That guy only said "lowkey turns me on" Like what can I do about it if he's being honest? Cut his dick off? When I can just let my daughter dress properly.
" just because women dress up doesn't mean they do so to get EVERY single males attention on the street esp the ones they are not attracted to at all." Then just because I said that doesn't mean I'm being a creep to her. Simples. "its disrespectful. period." And calling someone a creep who didn't even sexually harass isn't? How entitled
And I'm not saying every guy has the rights to sexually harass her if she wears like that which isn't even what I'm doing but just have to be honest what she's wearing or what she's doing is erotic. Oh and no other guys say that right? Because you didn't ask. I dare you to post that picture alone and ask guys.
So let me summarize that. Dressing up like that, doesn't mean attracting men's attention. There for saying "that turns me on" in a normal tone doesn't mean I'm being a creep to anyone wearing like that but just giving an honest opinion. This is basically like criticism being taken so personally. You need a thicker skin. So why such double standards?
@Aiko_E_Lara...
Damn dude.. you totally mopped the floor with that girl 🤣🤣...
You argued like a freaking beast ahahhaa.. I read the whole thread.. she sounds pretty intelligent and did try to make some "valid" points.. obviously playing that rape card and the old what if it was your mum and sister line... total red herrings.. but well spotted.
I don't think your comment was inappropriate at all.. more like a passing comment... but her creep line was over stepping the line... so yeah I understand what you're saying...
Anyways just wanted to give you props lol... nice to see all guys aren't useless doormats..
@007-Tarzan Just doing what I do. I love destroying feminists and I'm an anti feminist.
@Asker i just want to point out something. You say that was an example you gave? Well i say that was a completely irrelevant example you gave because you weren't talking about rape after all. Now do you realize how that sound? That's right it's a strawman argument.
Stop being poor?
How about, stop having a cute bum? lol
Wish I was one of them. But I know they have to become slaves.
social media, has ruined how we interact with people. why should i, an ohioan, care about some rich kid, in Hartford, Connecticut
I like spoilt brat rich girls. Just funny... I'm not rich myself
Arrogant, entitled and immature
I'm just trying to understand the thought process behind people who say things like this. What is so wrong with flaunting what you got? If they're having fun, by all means do so. Why do people make such a big deal out of this?
Nothing.
I dont look at them.
you can't , their diamonds blind you
I don’t follow him thankfully
it's not just one person it's a whole group of rich kids. showing off your wealth is the new thing now on social media.
I do wonder with all the distractions money could buy why some even bother showing off their wealth. However if you've got it flaunt it. More power to them.
I couldn't care less about snapchat if I tried
Most of the posts are fake.
how would you know? there's a whole documentary on rich kids of instagram
Their lives, I don't care.
I think those are funny. It's cool to be rich.
They aren't rich
how are they affording mansions, lambos and private jets then? lol
nah some of them are legitimately rich. why is it so hard for you to accept that lol? jealous?
speak English pls
Lucky kids 😇
They are crazy. I choose not to look at
Good for them...
lucky mtfs
They're pretty gay.
Idiots
nobody likes them
Show offs
I pity them a little
