Besides ps5 basically closes the gap between pc and console
The gpu is basically like an RTX 2080
They still haven’t even officially confirmed the specs for either the PS5 or Xbox Scarlett yet. I double consoles will ever match a high end gaming PC. The only thing consoles have over PC are exclusive games.
You do know that there’s such thing as modders on PC, right? Sure, developers don’t always fully optimize their games on PC but with PC, you have the possibility of fixing the issue yourself if you have the skills or tweaking the settings of your game. Just look at most of the Fallout and Elder Scrolls games. They’ve always launched with a plethora of bugs you have until Bethesda gets the PC modding community to help them on that with PC first. A lot of console fanboys I see laughably compare a PS4 Pro to a High-End Gaming PC of 2013 when the PS4 Pro still can’t even run 4K natively nor anything above 60fps, lol. Hell, Sony still does not allow any sort of modding of games on their consoles (while Microsoft does with Fallout 4 and Skyrim Remastered) so I doubt the PS5 will have any of the modding features.
A high-end gaming PC isn't that expensive if you know where to shop for parts online at great deals. Sure, some High-End specs are a bit more expensive than consoles in the short-term but in the long term, they're much cheaper, with Steam and so many other PC Gaming Digital Storefronts always having these crazy sales all the time and the fact that you don't have to worry about whether or not your PC is backwards compatible with older games (like you do with consoles) so you will always have your long list/plethora of games you've owned for a long time as long as your PC's operating system supports it and you remember all of your email and passwords for these PC storefronts.
You rarely ever get the sales on consoles like you do on Steam. The closest thing that a console has to a Steam-like sales on their games is Xbox One's Game Pass (which I will admit, is a very nice and consumer friendly subscription). At this point, even Xbox is now merging with PC gaming with the Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere Xbox One game titles.
Sony offers great exclusives, don't get me wrong but they don't have as much of a replay value like Nintendo's exclusive does, in my opinion. That's why despite being primarily a PC, I have a huge soft spot for Nintendo more than I do for Playstation and Xbox, when it comes to console gaming.
