I hadn’t heard of her before so I did a quick YouTube search and listened to her song “Hi, It’s Me.”

Overall, it wasn’t my cup of tea. I can’t really say specifically anything against her though— I just don’t like the style/genre. (Seriously, my knowledge of the genre is lacking to the point where the closest people I can name to her are Nicki Minaj and Lorde.)

I’m more of a rock/metal kind of person, so it was too modern-pop for me. The drums didn’t really stand out to me as anything interesting, and the vocal line wasn’t something I found particularly engaging. I liked it better than modern rap/hip hop I’ve heard though.
