What songs do you listen to when you're dealing with heartbreak.

I'd say the ones not to listen too :) but the movie better off dead if you understand it's satire can help you to feel better. But a break up song to me, off the top of my head "one more minute" or "you don't love me anymore" both weird al and both are satire so while your crying you will be laughing too. Both can be extreme but you have to understand that it's humorous, for those fresh out of a break up you might need a couple of days and listen or watch these videos with a good friend to make sure you catch the satire. The idea in these is weird so is saying he would lick all the bathrooms in grand central station with his tounge or rip his heart out of his rib cage for just one more minute with you. It you catch the humor it can ease the pain a little.

But other than that a true break up song that feels good is... Well I did a mytake on this a while back so let me go grab that but forget you by celo green was on there :)

I don't think my musical preferences changed so much during those periods. Maybe I liked the slightly heavier/darker type? Something more distracting, maybe -- "foreground music", not the background I like this type even when I wasn't broken-hearted, but maybe I liked more when I was.
