The ifly song isn’t sad it’s more romantic but it works cause in a break up it could be reminiscent or expressive of how someone made another person feel. I actually listened to that song after I told a friend I had loved him and he said he liked me too.. and a bit after he added something like he’d always be my good friend 😂 It was… WILD.

Unreciprocated love. This song works for that in my opinion. The other two are just so well done and emotional there’s no denying they’re incredible break up songs.

One hoping she gets treated better and regretting mistakes.

The other seeing/hearing how he’s moved on, and her triumphantly believing she’ll find better for herself in a most resilient way.
