I'm mostly a card game player.

But My favorite board game. Is Mouse Trap from the 1960s. My mom got it for a baby shower gift when she was pregnant with me.

We still have that very game today and play it every once in while.

We tried the modern version of it and it sucks. It went right in the burn pile. The pieces broke after 1st use.

Chess! I like playing over the board better, but I usually don't have the opportunity, so I often play online at lichess. I also like Risk and Stratego-- I enjoy games with strategy.

I think most I've played I've enjoyed. Board games are usually a lot of fun, I really enjoy them. Also, my date have promised me to teach me chess, since I said I never played...🤔 Maybe I'll have a obvious favorite game after I've played chess ☺

I like Arkham Horror the most.
But out of the usual competitive board games, I guess I would go with Monopoly (or Bets and Races, which is the horse racing themed ripoff we had at home).

Monopoly, it's the most vanilla answer and the game itself isn't all that great, but with the right players it makes for a pretty fun evening

Chess is the best. I am around a 2100 rated player and avoided getting checkmated on an en passant being my only move that a grandmaster let time run out due to forgetting. It was hilarious.
