It seems to me like DC is trying way too hard to feed their feminist crowd by making Harley Quinn some kind of standalone sensation. But me I can't see her as anything more than the Joker's psychotic side kick/ girlfriend in some twisted romance.
Not that there's anything wrong with her but the way she's being shoved in our faces just isn't all that appealing. I would much rather get some Batman related content, you know the actual hero of that universe from where all these amazing characters come. Coincidentally I just finished watching the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy today and was reminding how much of a masterpiece it was. I wouldn't mind if they started a new animated series about him too like the one they did in the 90's, i grew up watching that and it's still some of the best stuff out there.

You haven't watched the show, because this isn't a tsunami of virtue signaling like most shows with a strong female lead. This show is more about Harley relying on her friends to save her ass from situations her short sightedness has gotten her into.
Yes of course you're absolutely right I haven't seen it and therefore I can't have opinions on it.
But the main point that I'm trying to make is that Batman is a character with a lot of potential and a rich history. I don't know why DC are circling around him so much instead of giving us something directly starring the dark knight.
Batman is only boring AF because that's how DC made him out to be in recent years.
Now I don't know if you're familiar with the Arkham videogame franchise. But if you're not you can look it up on YouTube. (Look for Batman: Arkham City) They gave a version of Batman that felt to me like the most interesting super hero story ever. Now that's a videogame but the it shows just how much Batman can be an interesting character. I did look up the one we get in this show and frankly I don't like him, they made him not too appealing so that Harley remains the main character. That's why I want some Batman exclusive show or movie or even animated series.
The show looks dope 😅 but when i start series i get hooked on watching the series till end that's why I tend to avoid watching series it's like an addiction. I would love to watch it but from past 14 days haven't even opened YouTube just to keep my mobile addiction in check.

Best show on TV right now. I've binge watched all of the episodes multiple times, the latest episode is pretty touching for this show. More people should watch it. Great cast, incredible writing, and the funniest fucking shit I've seen in a long time. Cheers for this topic

I watched is once casually which I was working on my Chromebook. I was a little surprised by the language, but I just never gave a rat's ass anyway since I am not into comic books.
I've seen bits and pieces on Youtube, and the majority of it I enjoy. I like how they aren't trying to be all dramatic or super dark and are just acting like normal people.
Honestly. it was Suicide Squad level bad. Almost. The character writing is the weakest it can be while still delivering the bare minimum, bad choreography, close to every character motivation is really weak, and the plot is so contrived.
It's pretty much the same. But at least i had some fuck with Suicide Squad. Some of the jokes landed. I cringed with pretty much every joke told in this movie.
Did you know Harley is the only DC character that didn't get her start in the comics, she was introduce in the csrtoon but the fan recpleption was good and DC then put her in the comics
