Lemme just say, Taina was gorgeous. Loved her! Romeo was adorbs and i loved his brotherhood with Luis and Gary. The Brothers Garcia had a GREAT movie when they went to the Mayans or sumn. Lmao i forgot but the oldest bro was just so sexy. Addie was funny on Unfabulous but Gina was so pretty and Jake Beharie was fine af! Jordan Calloway came a loooong way and is super hot now on Black Lightning. Ned’s Declassified has me rooting for Ned and Moze. Cousin Skeeter was funny but i hated Megan Good back then and i still can't stand the greeneyed guy who played Arnaz on One on One. Lastly, Gullah Gullah Island was more of a kids show you watched before naptime but i loooved it! I was just mad when they replaced Shaina although both grew up pretty #FeelFreeToList #TheREALTeenNick

I'm not a Quaker of something not had commercial TV in 10 years.
When I briefly lived in Charleston, I met Gullah people. The other word is Geechee.
When they arrived from West Africa, many slave ships sank in storms and the survivors settled in the barrier islands including John's Island and (!) Hilton Head. The Planters wanted to round them up but Malaria was so bad there, that Gullahs were left alone until Malaria could be controlled. Then, since Gullahs never titled the land, lawyers eventually ran them off.

Gullah is one of the few Creoles invented here. African languages, English and a little French. The other is "Cajun", derived from the "Acadian". They emigrated there after the US Revolutionary war. Cajun is French, English and African dialects. In New England, I worked for a French Canadian (Acadian) construction contractor. They often spoke in an English-French patois. When I went to New Orleans, I semi understood "Cajuns" when they spoke.

Some of the old Black Delta Blues artists like Robert Johnson and Leadbelly spoke in an odd poetic English derived from Cajun. When I played that style of music in college, I sang imitating their accents. Hendrix also did in some of his blues compositions. I also sing Karaoke and do Harry Belafonte almost indistinguishable from him in Banana Boat (Dayo).

But then he grew up, and I recognized him and... Dude hit puberty very well.. I remember Taina.. I never really cared for the show much.. And I liked the Romeo show well enough.. Ned's Declassified was my show though.. One of the funniest kids shows out there..
