As much as I love Goku.. It's safe to say that Superman would win in a fight between the two of them.

Goku is supposed to have limits, so he can overcome those limits through will, devotion and training.. To protect those he cares for. There will be enemies that are too strong to defeat by himself, so he will have to work together with others in order to beat them.. Showing the value of trust and friendship. That's the core of his character.

Supermans struggle is a different one.. It's about fitting in to society despite of him, not being human. His power is practically limitless though.

Now.. What happens if you put a being that has the potential to break his limits over and over again, up against one that has no limits in the first place? Well.. Only one of them has limits to hold them back.

You may argue with kryptonite but the thing is that Goku wouldn't fight someone with cheap tricks, so that's out of the picture.

they never made Superman look badass besides in comics. he looks like a gay dude who's the sub in a relationship. BUT.. surely he would wreck goku if they made him as he should be
