Sims 3 all the way. First of all, more realistic customization, better CC, more traits to choose from, could pick your zodiac sign, food, even the color and music you like! The creation in the Sims 3 is filled with endless possibilities.
For example, let’s think of some of the Sims 3 packs. Great packs like Supernatural, Pets, Generations, Late Night... There is so much more content than the packs the Sims 4 has. It definitely became a money grab and I’m so disappointed with it. I was extremely ticked off that you can’t control pets in the Sims 4. There aren’t even horses either. It felt like a complete waste of money.
Sims 2 and Sims 3 are the best. Sims 3 will forever have my heart though.
I was going to say Afterlife, but that's a *sim* game, and that second S knocks it out. So I'll say 2, because that was the one with the bug whereby clicking to a different attribute tab recentered the slider without adjust the physical feature, so you could make a Sim with a nose larger than the entire rest of their head, or eyes so large they merged into one and they became a cyclops.
I have only played the first, beyond building the house I had no interest in it, so I never became a fan. I have sims 4 to xbox one but haven't played it, it came in a bundle with other games, which was the reason to buy them. So the answer would be none.

I’ve only played the first two. The first was great, and the second was awesome. But all of the games since then haven’t looked as good. The building looks better and better, but not the actual gameplay. Plus Sims 2 has my favorite overall look regarding the Sims in them.
I'm surprised people are actually chosing the sims 4.
To me it feels like the biggest downgrade of all time.
Sims 3 all the way. I played it with all dlc's which made it an even better experience.
For as much as I like the sims, I haven't really played all of them to show favouritism. I've played Sims3 and 4, and that's about it.
I do enjoy how chill the game is, perfect for listening to a podcast or the likes.
Urbz, but as far as sims games go Sims 1 was the only one i ever really got into, 2 might be better.
Never bothered with them after that, to much DRM to few improvements.
Sims 4, but Sims 2 gives me the most nostalgia as I remember playing it when I was little.
