I don't like the original much probably because I heard the remix first and loved it.

Not better than the original but just as good as the original in my opinion.

Similarly Linkin Park's entire Reanimation album. Those songs are basically remixed versions of their first album Hybrid Theory, the songs sound just as good as the originals. Some sound even better than the originals... Great thing about those remixes are that they were made by Linkin Park themselves so they didn't lose the songs' moods.

There are a number of them but off the top of my head. I love Stevie wonders music but men in black and wild wild west both used steve wonders riffs while will smith changed the lyrics. I think I enjoy them more as pop culture references than Stevies original purpose for them :) while I love both, I love will smiths takes better
