Who ever read the book titled "50 great short stories by editor Milton Crane? Is it easy to read for a non-native English speaker in Turkey?

I have read 20 pages so far but there are so archaic words. They are so literary but I am not a literature student etc.

I bought it a few years ago but now I can't read easily because actually it's dull and the English words used in it are archaic. I don't know what to do with it. I would rather read their translations. Do you think I should sell it or read it slowly? What should I do?

Short stories are usually easier to read. I’ve read a number of them when learning other languages.

No, because I don’t read literature in English anymore. The use of archaic language is an occupational hazard in literature, and it’s worse in full-length works. Look at Don Quicote, for example.
