How can I tell if someone is in a party on PS4?

So my boyfriend is playing a game on his ps4 called apex legends. It shows as 1/3 and players in session as just him. Does that mean it's just him or is it a party he's in but it's not showing the two other people he could possibly be playing with.

I need to know so I know whether or not he might be playing with this girl that disrespected both of us after an argument. I want to see if he's that stupid to disrespect his relationship with me to play with her. If he is, we're done.

I asked casually who he played with before I came over and he claimed he played with his best friend and a guy.

So I guess the 1/3 was him playing with others. Not sure if it was party chat created in message though.

He's playing a game with his friend and it says 1/5 but it's only two of them playing.

Correction, there are five people playing together. So for some reason it shows as just him 1/3 or 1/5 when the second number indicates how many people are actually present

So the party system has completely changed where you can't see if anyone in talking to others unless you are in the message group, since parties are made in messages now.
The fact he's in a lobby 1/3 gives no indication except he's on that game alone

What is wrong with you? If you think he is cheating, then leave. I know nothing about that game, but you don't sound stable. Honestly you’re out of luck, love. PS4 put out an update more recently where it doesn’t even show parties that are available, how they used to. You can only see the one that you started/were invited to/were previously in. No more party list under the party tab, which sucks. All you can do is trust your gut and be smart about the situation.

Like below the game right? On the home screen? I think I know what you mean, and if so then I think that is now the only way to see they’re in a party, and if it shows “1/4” that means there are others in the party with him. However I don’t think you can see who it is, especially if the party is private.
