How do you know if a guy is playing games or not?

Okay so I'm not even sure where to start. Ok I guess telling you I have a boyfriend is a good. & my boyfriend can't stand this guy that I've been friends with for about a year or so(The friend is a HUGE flirt!). My boyfriend always used to tell me before we were dating that 'OMG he is like you favorite person, he loves you!' & I never really knew what to say so Id laugh & be like no way. So lately the friend and I have been spending a lot of time together because we are in the same school. He is in the musical like me. I always used to think he was gay. & then recently Id started thinking not & now I am so confused. I used to have a crush on him but I thought I was safe because he was 'gay' right? So he has been flirting with me non-stop lately. He is always touching me "accidentally". At first I thought I was imagining things. Like oh he just brushed over my hand by accident,he only gets really close to me when I whisper to him or talk to him because he is an open personal person, he didn't mean to touch my lips when he gave me a mint (which I refused but he knew I wanted one so he put it in my mouth...). I brushed all these "accidents" off until this: So we were in this scene where we had to point and stuff and I pointed back @ him. After I turned around (away from him) he came over to me and said "Were you talking about how I'm hot-sh*t?" & I sarcastically said yes, all the time, that's all I do and then I laughed & turned back around. I don't even remember what he said to me but he put his hand on my butt and moved it up to the small of my back and said something to me in my ear. I didn't know what to do so I turned around gave him a funny look and he smiled. I don't know what to do because I have feelings for him but I would never cheat on my boyfriend. These things he is doing are driving me crazy. I didn't know what to do after this happened so I kept my distance. He was mad @ me the next day. Actually he kind of flip flops. He'll be mad one minute and the next be touching my hand again. After one of our shows we all went to the diner. He was nice to me but then I don't know what happened but he started being a jerk. My boyfriend was there so maybe that was part of it but I don't know because he was there when he was being nice to me too. But anyways he basically ignored me when I was trying to ask him something & I was like your being an asshole. & he says yup & a PITA too then turned away from me . Well the reason he said that is because I always joke about him and how I found him so annoying last year and I often refer to him as a PITA. After I got home I sent him a text saying "You seemed kinda p*ssed @ me @ the diner. He denied it & said he wasn't mad @ me. I don't know what to do because I don't really like my boyfriend anymore and this is definitely contributing to it. Both of these guys are total opposites. My boyfriend=sugar, sweet, cute and everything nice(practical). "Friend"= Adorable, spicy, hot and total flirt(not practical but sexy and fun). What do I do?! ( Musical is almost over btw.)

He proceeds to say goodbye to people. Until he realized I wasn't say goodbye to him he said goodbye to me. So I just mhmmm. And he goes are you mad at me? I pretty much just shook my head and kept walking.

After all this happened THEN he gets the texts. He send back to me"I said goodbye! you didn't"

So then I texted back and I was like no you didn't & you didn't sit with us like you said you would either. Then he put Because no one would move! lol. Then I put What!? excuses excuses excuses

Understand when young guys are not thinking like girls well they don't when they get older niether. Playing games is what makes them youthful. Liking a boy can be a wild ride. Keep in mind that guys look at girls like candy especaily when there young. They one all kinds of candy. Even if they have a favorite kind. Still cmady is candy and they have to guard themselves as well so by them playing games it's the best defense. He's playing with you in order to stop the games stop letting it be his turn.

a guy is playing games with you if he isn't officially with you but flirts. one of my ex boyfriends tried to play games with my mind by texting me random texts or sending people to talk to me to get my opinion on us getting back together. and he had a girlfriend at the time. there are so many scenarios on how guys will play a girl. you just have to get to know him and figure him out in time.

well in this situation it seems like you really like the guy and he likes you back. you don't feel for your boyfreind this way anymore so I don't think it will work out either way you look at it. I think you need to end the elationship with your current boyfreind, because its not fair for him to be seeing and going through all this. but good luck

It's fine :) I think it would bother me if a girl was coming up from behind touching my boyfriend's butt and whispering something in his ear and I heard about it. So I could see why your boyfriend got a little angry that you two are so close, but my best friend and I act the same why and he is so gay. Maybe your friend is nervous about coming out and finds it easier to establish his obvious liking for girls.
