A couple years ago, I would've liked Idris Elba for the role, but his recent racist spats and behavior has really tarnished my opinion if him as a person. Plus he said himself he's too old for the role.
Fassbinder wouldn't be bad, but he already has a reputation of being the silver lining in mediocre movies. This trend could easily follow him into the Bond universe but I'd love to see it broken.
Tom Hardy is the "safe" pick. Everyone likes him, and he plays significantly different characters in almost everything he's in, so it's definitely within his ability.
In fact I wouldn't outright hate any of these choices. I'd also throw in Cillian Murphy as a possibility. Like with Fassbinder, it would be good to break him out of his usual typecasting, although he'd probably bring more to the table as a villain.

Interesting question, i think Fassbender is a uniquely gifted actor capable of creating moments of nuaunce and believability;or delving deep into the character. However, Cilian Murphy would kill as James Bond. The lean muscular thing he had going on in Peaky blinders with work in 007 capacity

Considering pretty much every human on earth man or woman drools over Cavill I think making him JB is a sure way to restore the character to his former glory however I read an article once about why they won't do it.
It's because Cavill is too big already and known for other stuff, when people look at him a lot of them see Superman and bond needs to be just Bond, in the past all who took the role became big shots after the role not before it.
And for me personally considering Alba for the role is just insulting, while I would love a spy move starring him and I'm a huge fan of his recent works I just feel like changing bongs gendre or race because of "diversity" is just insulting to the audience's intelligence especially the hardcore fans who see the Bond universe as almost a real place and after 50 years it would be really wrong to do this. After all the actor may change but the character is the same within the universe and it would make a giant issue that no one would address and still pretend like all is fine which will break the lore of the franchise.
As for hardy I'm a big Hardy fan and think he doesn't get enough credit for his acting skills, the man could pull off DiCaprio level performances given the chance still I think he lacks a certain natural element Bond has.
So I chose other and in my head I think Tom Ellis would be perfect for the role.
He's got the looks, he's a fan favorite on the small screen but still hasn't made it too big on the sliver screen. He's proven he can look killer in a suit and can draw up emotions with his acting skills. Sure I'm not suggesting turning bond into the nonchalant player that is Lucifer but Bond himself pretty munch invented being a gentleman playboy all Ellis needs to do is pull off a slightly more serious tone and we can have one of the best bonds in some time. What? No middle-aged black women on here, you racist CIS white male?
Really, if it was 2012-2013, I would've said Idris Elba, but the world is now too woke and full of sh*tty leftists, so casting him now would be sheer tokenism from those folks. Plus, he's now too old at 48. It's a damn waste too, but Elba would've been a great Bond.
As of right now, no one. Just let the series die already before feminists utter decimate it like they did Star Wars.I'd go with James Norton myself.
I think Tom Hiddleston is worth considering.
Typically, when a Bond is cast,, the actor is successful, but not successful enough they would be bigger than the franchise. (Probably rules our Fabsender and Hardy)
I'd imagine they would want someone young enough to do at least 2 films, maybe more. So I think they would want someone who is in their late thirties / early forties for obvious reasons
I think Caval is too Holywood.
Madden is an interesting contender. And Scottish.I only know who Idris Elba is of this list, but I think he’d absolutely kill it as Bond. Smooth British dude who the ladies love, but also has a capacity to be intimidating with his bigger frame. I think the bigger issue is probably that James Bond as a character has been beaten to death, haha.
I think it's time for an American Bond! After all there have been two English Bat-men, a Superman, a Spiderman, Two Professor Xaviers and a very disappointing Non Scottish version of Nebula. Better Yet! Make him a Canadian Bond!
Well Cavill already appeared in SPECTRE. But for my money Idris Elba. I like most of those actors listed but what's most important is the cool 007 swagger. I think Idris Elba would be the most capable of delivering that based on the roles i've seen him in.
Wow, good choices! Nicely done.
Any of these guys. They're all a bit different, but good.
I'd watch any/all of them. But I guess I would slightly prefer to see what Fassbender would do. I want them to lighten up just a touch, again, in the Sean Connery way. They've been taking themselves too seriously lately, the franchise.
I think Fassbender could do a wink and some wit very well.Personally, it should be Idris.
can’t be Cavill or Fassbender really
Hardy is reasonable left field choice.Well, we already know who the next 007 is.
As for the next James Bond. I would tend to want Cavill. But he might be too busy with DC now that he has solidified his role as Superman.
In that case Fassbender or Elba. Take your pick.I thought Lashana Lynch was confirmed the new 007? 🤔 I never watched the series but Fassbender's acting is one of my favorite. He looks sharp in a suit too!
Heavy hitters Hardy, Elba or Fassbender would be great! Maybe they should hire all three and rotate them. I like THAT idea best. Each would bring something different to the role.
Robert Downey Jr or Chris Evans
Since they pretty much done with marvel full timeMichael Fassbender, without a doubt.
His portrayal of the stolid-but-sinister android David in the last two Alien movies illustrates an acting talent truly befitting Bond.Joe Biden!
Out of all the actors out there they should find an actor who embodies the devilishness of Sean Connery, the smoothness of Roger Moore and the kick ass toughness of Daniel Craig.
Ellen DeGeneres
