I really want to mention Porter Robinson because lately I’ve really taken a liking to his music... He’s an electronic producer, but he’s moved in a more singer/songwriter direction, in addition to what he’s been doing in the past. I think everything from his upcoming album has been really great and really feels poignant to the times we’re in, whether it was intentional or not.

Like there’s an awareness or a “conscious” element to the music where you just know it’s going to be something that really speaks to people in a positive way, or in a way that feels important. I have plenty more favorites, but I’m really into what Porter is doing at the moment... it’s really striking a chord for me.
