My natural, unaltered speaking voice sounds like a super-gay, flamboyant convict. Kinda like The Booty Warrior, but slightly less exaggerated. Closer to Mike Tyson or David Beckham. I legit HATE the sound of my natural speaking voice so much, I speak in a "fake" voice almost daily and even THAT still sounds gay AF. I legit hate it. Keep in mind, the version of the voice we hear ourselves say is also LOWER than reality as well, because it's in our own skulls, meaning I sound even worse to other people than I hear myself sound.

YOUR voice, @lanadelrey25, on the other hand is super sweet and nice, in stark contrast to your sassy personality! It's surprising. I expected it to be lower and have more "attitude" in it. Like a girl who's not afraid to physically fight other girls. Instead, you sound too much like a "shy and innocent good-girl" but I don't think that's really your personality. I was also expecting a subtle Southern accent, I guess. You don't express yourself like you live in some Blue state, like California. I would've guessed Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, or long shot of Texas. Instead you have an Ohio ("default American") accent.

I'm finally coming to terms with my voice. I play guitar and when you can sing, it makes life so much easier because your voice can carry so much of the melody. Blues guitar- the kind if music I listen to and try to play- is pretty much based in vocals, call and response like you would hear a group of sharecroppers picking cotton sing, There is always, whether played on an instrument on in vocals a statement, a response to that statement and the more it sounds like a human voice when you play, the more succesfully, many would say, you're playing the blues.

It really just depends on what voice I am doing at the time. I can do character voices and if I do a deeper one my voice will sit a little lower for a bit. If I go higher then it might sit higher for a bit.

I have a lot of flexibility in my voice, but normally it sits on the lower end of feminine pitch especially because I am not a loud talker.
