It’s really depending on vaccinations being taken up.

Where I work, we are removing global traveller status from anyone not taking the vaccine.

this means they don’t get to travel to USA, China, Europe, Korea etc.

which as a technology company is a big thing.

longer term it will mean how I hire and promote people internally.

what use is promoting someone to a manager, if I can’t send them to Las Vegas for a month or to Sydney Australia etc.

It's lasted and become even bigger than I ever thought it would have initially. Now I think it's here to stay, but eventually will become like the flu. But apparently it looks like people are going to have to get vaccines at least once a year, every year, maybe even twice a year. I doubt it's ever going to completely go away though.

Until we ALL get vaccinated. Even then, we will have to live with it. Until a new variant comes along that evades the vaccine, then the whole saga starts again!

I just got done working in a room full of bodies so I'd say when the morge stops being overfilled with bodies which it's getting there. Im sure there is a lot of backlog from when we were renting refrigerated trailers to hold them all.

We probably would be thorough this already in the USA if it wasn't for a small percentage of ignorant people who absolutely refused to to anything to slow the spread like wear a mask and stop gathering in large groups.

I should have expected as much, can't get most of those same people to wash their hands after using the restroom ether.

Then you are really mad! I have spent a total of 6 months getting over covid, and the after effects known as long covid. It ain't no lie! It is fucking evil.

The thing is nobody gives a toss if you catch it. It will be too late. Deny it if you want to, but it is your life... or death. It is your choice.

My neighbor's entire family had it in Oct..! Y'know what they took to get rid of it? Robitussin CF and Tylenol!! If that can kill it, and the Sun can kill it, and ultraviolet light can kill it, it must be a pretty fragile bug!! And there's always hydroxichloroquine!! If it can cure malaria for the past 60 years without killing anybody, I can deal with corona without killing anyone, either!!! Just STAY AWAY FROM CUOMO!!!

@FunkyMonkee People died not from the corona virus, but from the wrong drugs. Most of the people who died in Turkey died from malaria medicine.
